Did you know that almost seven-in-ten Australians (68%) would wait longer for goods, accept less variety or pay more if it resulted in improvements to the environment?
That was one of the take-outs from national research about public attitudes to road transport carried out for NatRoad earlier this year.
Metropolitan residents are more likely to accept trade-offs (71%) than regional residents (62%). Of the 58% of Australians who are aware of night and morning delivery curfews, six-in-ten would support their removal if it improves the movements of goods.
