16 November 2011 - NatRoad Appoints New CEO

NatRoad President Geoff Crouch today announced the appointment of Mr Chris Melham as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NatRoad replacing outgoing CEO Bernie Belacic.  He will take up this position from the 28th of November 2011.

NatRoad Asks Ministers to Maintain Momentum on National Heavy Vehicle Laws

The Standing Committee on Transport and Infrastructure (SCOTI) will meet in Canberra on Friday to consider the first substantive bill (Bill 1) containing proposed National Heavy Vehicle Laws that will underpin the establishment of a National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR). NatRoad is calling for Ministers to endorse the bill on the condition that a second amendment bill (Bill 2) is brought forward prior to Bill 1 being applied as law.
