October 10th 2009 - Next Round NatRoad NetWorking Member Forums
NatRoad, the National Road Transport Operators Association incorporating Australian Road Train Association, is about to commence a new round of its Member NetWorking Forums, with the first one planned for Dandenong on 29 October.
“Our forums are designed primarily for road transport people to have their say on matters such as trucking regulations and to discuss any issues which may affect us as operators, directly with local authorities, other operators and their Industry Association,” NatRoad President Rob McIntosh said this morning.
“The forums also provide a great opportunity to meet with other operators from their region, and the NatRoad staff. Many business relationships and friendships are formed or strengthened through these and similar NatRoad functions,”
“In addition, they encourage operators to become more proactive in the transport industry” Mr McIntosh said.
The forum program is an initiative of NatRoad and has proven to be a very successful method of informing participants - “first hand” of introduced or amended regulations compliance (speed and fatigue) and IR issues.
The NatRoad NetWorking Member Forums program can be found on the NatRoad website www.natroad.com.au or a copy can be requested by contacting the NatRoad Office. For all those interested in attending, please contact Gaving Klingner to register.
